The United States Council Foundation (USCF) and United States Council for International Business (USCIB), its partners and sponsors, with particular assistance from the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD and members of the USCIB Environment Committee, have launched the Green Economy, Green Dialogue project.

This project held a series of dialogues that engaged the private and public sectors and informed international policy discussions. Resources for the Future, a partner in this project, hosted the first dialogue in Washington, DC. The 2nd Green Economies Dialogue was hosted by the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD at the OECD headquarters in Paris. The third and fourth Dialogues took place in Asia and South America in 2012.

In addition to the Dialogues, approximately a dozen peer-reviewed research papers have been commissioned and published as a special supplement of the peer-reviewed journal Energy Economics. The special supplement is available by clicking here. The Green Economies Dialogue project is now entering a stock-taking phase.
